She is survived by: her children, Beulah Harris Wilkins of Rocky Mount, NC and Harvey Lee Summerlin; her grandchildren, Jo-Ann Wilkins of Rocky Mount, Phyllis Wilkins Woodruff of Tobaccoville, NC, Tabetha Summerlin of Tarboro, NC and Harvey Lee Summerlin, II of Wilson, NC; her siblings, Fannie Powell of Wilson, NC, Annie Doris Jones of Philadelphia, PA, William "Buck" Atkinson of Richmond, VA, Bobby Ray Atkinson of Elm City, NC, Clifton "Bill" Atkinson (Rosa) of Wilson, NC and Rev. George Thomas Atkinson (Carrie) of Sims, NC; her adoptive daughter Carolyn Summerlin of Wilson, NC; her grandchildren, Charlene Hart, Cassandra Wilkins and Calil Wilkins; and also Jennifer Brown of Wilson, NC.. She is also survived by four grand children; eleven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
