He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Cloninger and Bess Garner Cloninger. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Whitley Cloninger; his sons, Barry L. Cloninger (Darlene) and Keith Cloninger (Amanda); his grandchildren, Denise Purvis, Billy Cloninger, Melissa Moore, Justin Cloninger and Bruce Cloninger; his great grandchildren, Megan Purvis, Jodi Purvis, Nathan Cloninger, Caleb Moore, Abby Moore, Noah Cloninger, Amanda Moore and Paisley Cloninger; his great great grandchildren, Madie Hubbell and Trip Helton; and his sisters, Gayle Currie and Vickie Young.
