He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Brown Sharpe. He is survived by: his children, Susan Crossland (Al) of Reidsville, Terry Sharpe (Maggie) of Ellerbe and Chris Sharpe (Diana) of Charlotte. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
