She is survived by: her children, Marva (Ezon) of Ellerbe, NC, Marlon of Ellerbe, NC and Kevin of Asheboro, NC; and her siblings, Jesse Bowden (Irene) of Mt. Gilead, N. C., Earl Bowden (Doris) of Mt. Gilead, N. C., Betty Bowden of Rockingham, N. C., Juanita Bowden of Mt. Gilead, N. C. and Claudette Thomas of Biscoe, N. C.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
