Thadis Rayon Rogers Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thadis Rayon Rogers of Ellerbe, North Carolina, who passed away on November 11, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Paschall Rogers and Rosie Gertrude Patterson Rogers; his wife Ann Mofield Rogers; his brothers, Bennett Rogers and William Rogers; and his great grandchild Emberlyn Jade Hamrick.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Rogers Butler (Randall) of Albemarle, Rachel Rogers Fraley (Buck) of Mt Gilead, Lillian Rogers Maner (Carey "Birddog") of Ansonville and Karen Rogers Martin (Wesley) of Troy; his siblings, Mary Broomfield of Delbarton, WV, Carolyn Hughes of Carthage, Wilbur Rogers of Mt. Gilead and Ralph Rogers of Carthage; and his grandchildren, Khristina Buczynski (Shawn) of Albemarle, Kimberly Butler of Albemarle, Tara Hamrick (Buck) of Albemarle, Derrick Blevins (Emily) of Mt Gilead, Brandon Blevins (Patricia) of Mt Gilead, Carey Maner of Ansonville, Shannon Maner of Ansonville, Paul Maner (Stephanie) of Ansonville and Adam Maner of Cary. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Due to Covid restrictions the service will be held outdoors with military honors at Priest Hill Presbyterian Church on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 2:00 pm conducted by Rev. Archie Stevens.
