He was predeceased by: his parents, David Tilley and Nettie Puckett Tilley. He is survived by: his wife Helen Chavis Tilley; his daughters, Candi Tilley of Hamlet, Juwana Chavis of Candor and Porshia Chavis-Oxendine of Rowland; his grandchildren, Jasmine Tilley, Yolanda Tilley, Zac Chavis, Shane Chavis, Dyllon Chavis, Jacob Oxendine and Jace Oxendine; and his siblings, Ray Tilley of Winston-Salem, Carolyn Spivey (Jerry) of Ellerbe and Mary Jo Rogers (William) of Norman.
