With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phillip D. Hinson of Ellerbe, North Carolina, who passed away on November 9, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hinson and Etta Alice Comer Hinson; and his siblings, Charles Hinson, James C. Hinson, Harold Hinson Arnold Hinson, Mary Davis and Loretta Blake.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann Hinson; his children, Jennifer Duguay (John) and Laurie Cox (Tim); and his siblings, Alene Reeder and Hubert Hinson (Wanda). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
