With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myrtle Deloris Darnell (Ellerbe, North Carolina), who passed away on May 24, 2019 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Roosevelt Odom and Geneva Brown Odom; and her siblings, Cartha, Elliott, Sealy, Wilbert B., Faye and Gleech.

She is survived by: her son Ralph Douglas Darnell, Jr. of Ellerbe; her grandchildren, Christopher Douglas Darnell (Courtney Dawn) and Harley Fountain Darnell (Jessica Marie); and her brothers, Harris Odom (Pat) of Hamlet and Ross Odom (Joyce). She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
