She is survived by: her husband Harold Freeman McFayden; her children, Elaine Francis of Aberdeen, Ellen Jones (Dan) of Mount Gilead, Laura Farrell (Robert) of Aberdeen and Larry McFayden (Lynette) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Melinda Benson (Graham), Robert Farrell, Stephen Farrell, Rebecca Jarrells (Billy), Daniel Jones (Ashley), James McFayden and Timothy McFayden (Katie); and her daughter-in-law Ruth McFayden Freeman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
