It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Ussery Brookshire of Ellerbe, North Carolina, who passed away on July 6, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Floyd and Grace Graham Ussery; and her brothers, William Michael and Jimmy Ussery. She is survived by: her husband William D. "Bill" Brookshire; her sister Jo Ann Ussery Thompson; and her nieces and nephews, Marshall "Mark" Thompson (Donna), Patricia "Trish" McGee (Wade), Joy Frankoff and Mike Ussery (Cindy).
