Kay Adams Altimus Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 26, 2023, at the age of 82, Kay Adams Altimus of Ellerbe, North Carolina, born in Chester, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Adams and Margaret "Billie" Campbell Adams; her husband James U. Altimus; and her granddaughter Mandi. She is survived by: her children, Jacquelyn "Jacki" Sherman (Mike) of Whiteford, James "Jim" Altimus, Jr. (Lois) of Ozark, Traci Gomiller of Ellerbe, Bobbi Greenfield (John) of Myrtle Beach and Lori Reynolds of Ellerbe; and her sister Belinda Jo VanCleaf (Tom) of Mechanicsville. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Richmond County Hospice, the Alzheimer's Association or the ASPCA.
