He is survived by: his granddaughter Katie Mendiguren (Josh); his great grandchild Axton Gray Mendiguren; and his siblings, B. F. Darnell, Jr. (Debbie), Bobbie Covington and Norma Sue Bright (Bobby). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
