He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bradley "Bill" and Bessie Crow West; his brother William B. "Bill" West, Jr.; and his son Kevin Allred. He is survived by: his wife Betty Smith West; his children, Sarah West Kemp (John) and Sam West (Lisa); his grandchildren, Sydney Kemble-West, Mack West, Billy West, Johnathan Kemp and Bradley Kemp; and his cousins, Jane McCracken Mercer and Bobby Conder. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Rourk Presbyterian Church or to FirstHealth Hospice.
