He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin "Benny" and Eva Stephens Floyd; and his siblings, Allen Floyd, J. T. Floyd, Charles Floyd, Robert Floyd, Ray Floyd, Elizabeth Smith, Sue Ashworth, Joyce Daniels and Helen Parker.
He is survived by: his wife Stella Bowman Floyd; his children, Diane Meacham (Mickey) and Sam Floyd (Bonnie); his grandchildren, Michael, Lindsay, Amy, Samantha, Amanda and Wesley; and his brothers, Dennis Floyd and Steve Floyd. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
