He is survived by: his parent Pearline McCormick Davis; his wife Barbara Jane Barnes Davis; his children, Donnie Gray Davis, Jr. (Nina Williams) of Wilmington, Karen Elizabeth "Beth" Williams (Charles) of Ellerbe and Phillip James Davis; his grandchildren, Joshua Gray Williams (Emily), Carlie Elizabeth Hicks (Dewayne) and Reba Gail Williams; his great grandchild Gideon Grayson Williams; and his siblings, Earl Pope Davis of Grifton, NC and Virginia Rose Coleman of Lumberton.
