He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur G. Richardson and Gladys Priddy Richardson; his brother Edwin; his sister-in-law Margaret Richardson; and his niece Anita Richardson Shepard.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Richardson; his daughters, Karen Wilson of Ellerbe and Erin Richardson of Greensboro; his grandchildren, McKenzie Knight of Ellerbe, Jordan Griffith (Josh) of Hamlet and Chason Wilson of Ellerbe; his great grandchild Owen Avery Knight of Ellerbe; and his sister Linda Russell (Bobby) of Ellerbe.
In lieu of flowers, it is their request that donations be made in Donnie's memory to Richmond County Hospice, 1119 US Hwy 1 North, Rockingham, NC 28379.
