She was predeceased by: her parents, John McLaughlin and Novelia Crawford McLaughlin; her husband Turner Staton Bass; and her son Turner Staton Bass, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, John H. Bass (Guillermina) and William T. Bass (Teressa). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
