She was predeceased by: her parents, William Riley and Mattie Lea McDonald Puckett; her son Howell Gray Darnell, Jr.; and her sisters, Gracie Comer and Jane Spear.
She is survived by: her husband Howell Gray Darnell; her granddaughter Katie Mendiguren (Josh); and her brothers, William Riley Puckett, Jr., Don Charles Puckett and Jimmy Ray Puckett.
