He is survived by: his children, Terry Wayne Shields (Cindy) of Green Creek and Diane Shields Yelton (Greg) of Green Creek; his sisters, Ethel Godfrey and Brenda Joines (Johnny) of Green Creek; his grandsons, Timothy Neal Yelton (Ashley) and Matthew Wayne Yelton (Whitney); and his great grandchildren, Hayden Yelton, Laylah Yelton, Mia Yelton, Cooper Yelton and Declan Yelton (Jane Waters) of Rutherfordton.
