He was predeceased by: his wife Aurora Edith Padgett; his parents, Ellie Helen Padgett and James Taylor Padgett; and his brother Ricky Padgett. He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Padgett Cook (Jacob Mincey) of Kings Mountain and Dawn Wishion (Tommy) of Ellenboro; his grandchildren, Morgan Padgett, Victoria Padgett, Madison Wishion (Mackenzie Thompson) and Rocky Wishion; and his brother Robert Padgett of Ellenboro.
