He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Martin and Ruby Murray Martin; and his siblings, Ralph Griffin, Sandra Forbes and Susan Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Smith Martin; his daughter Holly Shires of Ellenboro; his grandchildren, Jordan Crawley and Chase Arrowood; his in-laws, Charles and Peggy Smith of Ellenboro; and his brothers-in-law, Ricky Smith (Betty) of Ellenboro and Jack Forbes (Sharon) of Kings Mountain.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Harrelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1251 US Hwy 221a, Forest City, NC 28043). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
