She was predeceased by: her parents, Vollie Wilson Hutchins and Essie Ailene Waters Hutchins; and her husband Thomas "Mack" Henson. She is survived by: her children, Mitch Henson (Brenda) of Chesnee, SC and Kay Searcy (Mike) of Forest City; her grandchildren, Kelly Henson and Kim Henson; her great grandchildren, Adriana Henson and Averi Henson; and her son Michael Shew. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the Harrelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1251 US Hwy 221a, Forest City, NC 28043).
