She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Daniel Lowery and Dora Revels Lowery; and her siblings, Virgil, James, Vernon, Ray, Joe Dean, Ralph "Bud", Layla Hardin, Vada Seay and Ruth Webb.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Wyatt Funderburk (Brent) of Starkville, MS and Mealie Wyatt Macmurphy (Chuck) of Charlotte, NC.; her grandchildren, Vada Macmurphy of Charlotte, Wyatt Funderburk of Nashville, TN and Gerald Jackson Funderburk of Austin, TX.; her half-brother Claude Lowery; and her friend Helen Simpson White. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
