He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert Clyde Yelton; and his grandparents, Clyde, Betty Yelton of Spindale, Harold and Rose Kennedy of Caroleen.
He is survived by: his mother Martha Ann Kennedy; and his siblings, Tina Yelton and Wayne Yelton of Mooresboro. He is also survived by ten nephews and nieces.
