It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Polly Daves (Ellenboro, North Carolina), who passed away on February 26, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Lovelace and Pearl Holland Lovelace; her husband Jesse Daves; her son Tommy Daves; and her siblings, J. L. Lovelace and Mozelle Melton.
She is survived by: her daughter Shelia Cuthbertson (Jim) of Rutherfordton; her siblings, Margaret Goode of Cliffside, Judy Sisk of Rutherfordton, Linda Kellough (Wayne Of) and Bill Lovelace of Lawndale; her granddaughters, Jessica Godfrey of Rutherfordton and Jessie Hudson of Ellenboro; her great grandchild Ella Godfrey; and her siblings-in-law, Forest Melton of Forest City, Patsy Long of Anderson, S. C and JoAn Daves of Georgia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
