With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Burns of Ellenboro, North Carolina, who passed away on December 2, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James Burns; her parents, Lee Pace and Ethel Pace; her brother Robert Lee Pace; and her sons-in-law, Steve Simpson and Skip Ullrich.

She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Allen (Larry) of Ellenboro, JoAnn Ullrich of Ellenboro and Mary Beaver (Todd) of Ellenboro; her sisters, Mary Greene of Bostic, Laura Sams (Roger) of Bostic and Judy Pannell (Gene) of Inman, SC; and her grandchildren, Thomas Waters (Megan) of Ellenboro, Lindsay Watson of Ellenboro, Donna Ullrich of Ellenboro, Lacy Simpson (Kris) of Wilmington, Nick Beaver (Jessica) of Raleigh, Ritchie Allen and Sherri Allen of Forest City. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Fair Haven Activity Fund, 830 Bethany Church Road, Forest City, NC 28043.
