She was predeceased by: her parents, Estel Royal and Edna Brown Royal; and her brother-in-law Bobby Dillard. She is survived by: her husband Curtis Blackburn, Sr.; her children, Beth Blackburn Alexander and Curtis Blackburn, Jr. (Glenda) of Ellenboro; her siblings, Walter Royal (Kathy), Billy Royal (Pauline), Bobby Royal (Portia), Thomas Royal (Doris) and Alma Jean Dillard of Wilkes County; her grandchildren, Victoria Blackburn (Cody Mills), Amber Wise (Casey), Leah Pressley (Jesse), Summer Keever (Camilo Mancipe) and Noah Alexander; and her great grandchild Lydia Wise.
