He was predeceased by: his parents, Clain Bridges and Luna Bridges; his wife Joann Putnam Bridges; his son Kenneth Bridges; and his brothers, Jerry Bridges and Sam Bridges.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Harris (Frank) of Matthews and Kim Shires of Ellenboro; his brother James Bridges of Ellenboro; his grandchildren, Jason Shires (Barbie), Brandon Shires, Erin Bridges, Megan Bridges and Austin Bridges; and his great grandchild Elijah Christian Shires.
