He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Wise Hanson; and his brothers, Walter Joseph Hanson and Jeffrey Lynn Hanson. He is survived by: his wife Angela Owens Hanson; his children, Brandy Michele Hanson (Ryan Morgan) of Hendersonville, Tiffany Vibbert (Brian) of Forest City, Courtney Hanson of Ellenboro, Megan Dorsey (Ron) of Shelby and Tyler Bowen of Shelby; his grandchildren, Madison Morrow, Alexus Wilkins, Isabella Holland, Harper Kelly, Oaklynn Vibbert and Lincoln Dorsey; his sister Sandra Ruppe of Ellenboro, NC; his parents-in-law, Roger and Katherine Owens of Shelby; and his close friend Tommy Turner.
