Max Toney Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2020, at the age of 83, Max Toney of Ellenboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edley Toney and Eunice Melton Toney; and his sister Gladys Gettys. He is survived by: his wife Martina Hodge Toney; his children, Gerald Toney (Lynn) of Ellenboro, Denise Hill (Barry) of Bostic and Ann Boyd (Marty) of Ellenboro; his siblings, Ray Toney, David Toney, Inez England, Dorothy Wright and Carolyn Greene; his grandchildren, Clayton Toney (Tara), Courtney Black (Jason), Rebecca Hill, Grant Hill, Jordan Boyd and Sarah Boyd; and his great grandchildren, Haidyn Toney, Tate Black, Clara Black and Charlee Toney.
Due to Covid-19 concerns, the family will not hold visitation but instead his body will lie in repose at The Padgett and King Mortuary on Sunday from 9 until 12:30 for those who wish to pay respects.
