We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2022, Martha Billingsley of Ellenboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Horace Billingsley; her parents, Grady Sheppard and Callie Sheppard; and her siblings, Carrie Lee Ponton and Jack Sheppard.

She is survived by: her son Michael Billingsley (Anne B. Billingsley) of Ellenboro; her brothers, Wayne Sheppard (Sara) of Bostic and Ricky Sheppard of Ellenboro; her granddaughter Morgan Conner Drummond; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Billingsley (Anne) of Bostic, Sybil Billingsley and Kay Sheppard.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

“I am so sad to hear this news. Martha has been my friend for about 73 years. We grew up together and have kept in touch somewhat all these years. Even though I live near Seattle Wa, and she lived in Ellenboro N. C. we remained friends for all those years. i heard from her just a couple of weeks ago. I did get to visit her about 3 years ago., which was my last visit there. She was a dear, dear friend and I loved her. Mary Braddy Horne.”
