She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Hoyle Kanipe and Janette Moore Kanipe; and her sisters, Roberta Lee and Shirley Moore. She is survived by: her husband Dwight I. Byers; her son Johnny Byers (Kimberly) of Ellenboro; her sisters, Clydean Lee (Joe) of Gaffney and Stephanie Holland (Doug) of Forest City; and her brothers-in-law, Eugene Lee of Ellenboro and Charles Moore of Mill Spring.
