She is survived by: her husband Frank Gettys; her children, Patricia Tipton (Wayne) of Bostic, Franklin Gettys (Tina) of Ellenboro and Stephen Gettys (Dana) of Ellenboro; her siblings, Mildred Brittain of Ellenboro, Edith Monday of Morganton and Ray Richards of Green Creek; her grandchildren, Dr. Matthew Tipton, Adam Tipton, Stephanie Haynes, Taylor Gettys and Heather Slaton; and her great grandchildren, Ava, Myles, Kagen, Kaine, Saihla Tipton, Logan, Evie Haynes, Grant Gettys, Kylin Moore and Kaisley Stephens.
