She was predeceased by: her children, Bobbie Evans Neal and Kim Evans; her brothers, Jerry Swink and Chuck Lovelace; her grandchildren, Kimberly Whiteside and Dusty Whiteside; and her great grandchildren, Michael Arrowood and Hayden Arrowood.
She is survived by: her husband Max Evans; her children, Wanda Grant (Alan) of Ellenboro, Rita Whiteside (Tim) of Ellenboro, Penny Floyd (Jeff) of Roebuck, SC, Jimmy Evans of Ellenboro and Tim Evans (Donna) of Ellenboro; and her sisters, Margie Ramsey of Lincolnton and Kathey Hammett (Ronnie) of Boiling Springs, NC.. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
