He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Green and Nellie Patterson Green; and his siblings, Madge Wright, Steve Green, C. J. Green and Kurt Green.
He is survived by: his wife Adrene McFarland Greene; his daughter Sandy Greene of Apex; his sister Martha Harrelson of Kings Mountain; and his brother-in-law Jack Wright of Greenville, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
