He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Paul Padgett and Ruby Walker Padgett. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Walker Padgett; his daughter Laura Elizabeth Padgett of Erbil, Iraq; his sisters, Sandy Padgett of Rutherfordton and Cathy Gadoury (Dean) of Grafton; and his nephew Zachary Gadoury of Charlotte, NC.. He is also survived by friends, nature photography, Daddy/Daughter.
