She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Greenlee and Francis Clayton Greenlee; her husband Steve Champion, Sr.; her grandson Chandler Champion; and her friend Braxton Gulley.

She is survived by: her children, Jeff Champion of Cliffside, Maria Hudson (Grady), Steve Champion, Jr. (Dannielle) of Ellenboro and Mark Champion (Crystal) of Ellenboro; her sister Doris Matheney of Rutherfordton; and her grandchildren, Haylee McFarland (Caleb), Gelica Champion, Jesi Yelton (Derek), Ashlie Hudson, Raven Jolley (Jacob), Cobie Champion, Codie Champion, Cecilie Champion, Caylie Champion, Chandlie Champion, Kaitlyn Champion and Kyle Champion.
