He is survived by: his children, Steve Lyle, Jr. (Tara), John Dawson IV (Tara), Dana Lyle Bey (Robert) and Kelsey Dawson (Michael); his grandchildren, Keegan Smith, Corley Lyle, Jackson Dawson, Olivia Lyle, Amelia Dawson, Eile Lenihan, Marley Dawson and Henry Haggerty; his niece Christine Thomas (Buddy) of Cleveland, TN; and his nephews, Jason Nodine (Amy) of Simpsonville and Michael Preston (Emily) of Central, SC..
