It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Earls of Ellenboro, North Carolina, who passed away on June 14, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Alice Gettys; his brother-in-law Bobby Scoggins; his nephew John Billingsley; his nieces, Cindy Scoggins Stone, Julia Elaine Scoggins and Mary Ann Kelly; and his parents-in-law, Clemmer and Jessie Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy Earls; his children, Jamie Earls and Jennie; his son-in-law Jason Greenway; his siblings, Cathy Corn (Houston), Mattie Scoggins, Tommy Earls (Cathey), Ben Gettys, Jr. (Laurice) and Raymond Gettys (Sandra); his grandchildren, Jessie Greenway, Will Greenway, Emma Earls and Patrick Waters; and his sister-in-law Anne Billingsley (Bob). He is also survived by 21 nephews and nieces; 41 great nephews and nieces; 10 great, great nephews and nieces, and many special friends.
