It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Mathis of Ellenboro, North Carolina, who passed away on April 21, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Jackson and Fannie Brooks Jackson; and her brother Marvin Eugene Jackson. She is survived by: her husband Robert Mathis; her son Curtis Hill (Tara) of Boiling Springs, NC; her grandchildren, Bethany Easler, Logan Hill and Pamela Hill; and her stepchildren, Melinda Lee (Todd) of Polkville and Robbie Mathis (Jennifer) of Kings Mountain.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to Harrelson Funeral Home, 1251 US Highway 221A, Forest City, NC 28043 to help defray funeral expenses.
