He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Heavener and Martha Louise Truelove Heavener; and his siblings, Rita Williams and Dickie Joe Heavener. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Heavener; his sister Debbie Lee of Shelby; his stepson Donald Henderson (Cindy) of Caroleen; and his brother-in-law Harlan Williams of Lawndale.
