He is survived by: his wife Betty Martin Ammons; his children, Amy Marie Metcalf (Roger) of Union Mills and Richard Ammons of Spindale; his stepchildren, Barbara Turner of Gaffney, Debra Hughey (Roger) of Gaffney, Kelly Peeler of Spartanburg and Kevin Martin of Gaffney; his sisters, Carrie Jane Ammons of Spindale and Brenda Mills (Gary); and his pets, Spanky and Maggie. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
