We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2020, at the age of 84, Harriette Cook of Ellenboro, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Edley "O. B."; her husband W. R. Cook; her siblings, Henry Ruppe, Dorothy Cash, Faye Willis and Juanita Hawkins; and her granddaughter Amita Burgess Dobbins.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Burgess (Larry) of Ellenboro and Allen Peskopos of Kennesaw, Georgia; her siblings, Jerry Ruppe of Boiling Springs, NC, Johnny Ruppe (Blanche) of Polkville and Mamie Lackey (Bill) of Polkville; and her grandchildren, Necia Scruggs, Kasi Wardlaw, Jeremy Gipson, Jeff Burgess and Charles Burgess. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
