He is survived by: his sons, Danny Ray Hardin of Gaffney and Richard Hardin (Debbie) of Ellenboro; and his sisters, Mary Sue Buff of Rutherfordton and Ruth Padgett of Ellenboro. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
