He was predeceased by: his parents, Landy Fite and Ada Nanney Fite. He is survived by: his wife Beulah Hamrick Fite; his daughters, Connie Gail Fite of Clayton, NC, Rhonda Fite Moore (Shawn) of Forest City, NC and Patricia Anne Fite of Ellenboro, NC; and his grandsons, Kenneth Ray "Casey" Chalfant, Christopher Andrew Chalfant, John William Smart and Hunter Caden Fite.
