It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doug O. Jernigan Jr. of Ellenboro, North Carolina, who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Laverne Oates Jernigan; and his wife Martha Kay Dobbins Jernigan. He is survived by: his father Douglas O. Jernigan, Sr. of Clinton; his children, Brandon Jernigan (Kim) of Rutherfordton and Heather Jernigan of Gastonia; his brother Jeffery Jernigan (Kim) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Mackinzie, Hunter, Maddox and Presley; and his pet Pede.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Corinth Baptist Church (767 Pinehurst Rd, Ellenboro, NC 28040). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery (767 Pinehurst Rd, Ellenboro, NC 28040).
