With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Poole of Ellenboro, North Carolina, who passed away on February 2, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Poole and Lima Beaver Poole; and his siblings, Wilma Poole Jones, J. F. Poole, H. S. Poole and Harold Poole.
He is survived by: his son Roger Short of Forest City; and his siblings, Lillian Toney of Ellenboro, Janet Honeycutt (Keith) of Mooresboro and Sonny Poole (Lois) of Ellenboro. He is also survived by grandson; as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
