He was predeceased by: his wife Wilma Poole Jones; his parents, Ralph Jones and Kate Keever Jones; and his siblings, Arthur Lee Jones, Pink Jones, Clifford Jones, Jerry Jones, Charles Jones, Ray Keever, Rev. David Jones, Ted Jones, John Jones, Katie Lou Wells and Rev. Perry Jones.
He is survived by: his daughters, Yvonne Padgett (John) of Bostic and Kimberly Cathcart (Thomas) of Spindale; his sisters, Emma Sue Ayers of Ellenboro and Joann Blankenship of Union Mills; his grandchildren, Aaron Vickers (Summer), Lindsey Cash (Jonathon), Ashlyn Vickers (Andrew Fisher) and Brittney Cathcart (Chris Cantrell); and his great grandchildren, Eli Cash and Caroline Vickers. He is also survived by grandchildren, 9 bonus great grandchildren, and 1 bonus great great grandchild.
