He is survived by: his children, Linda Wood of Ellenboro, Terry Gettys of Morganton, Robert Buckner (Mary Bowen) of Ellenboro, Lena Buckner of Bostic and Donna Evans (Tim) of Ellenboro; and his sister Pat Willis of Ellenboro. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
