With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Brooks of Ellenboro, North Carolina, who passed away on December 25, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Bruce and Dovie Lela Dixon Curtis; her husband Harold Fred Brooks; her former husband G. C. Greene; and her siblings, Mozelle Lynch, Irene Head, Albert Curtis, Clyde Curtis, Jim Curtis, Herbert Curtis, Charles Curtis and Harlon Curtis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda B. Wilson (Max) of Ellenboro and Debbie Brooks Lee of Ellenboro; her brothers, Ray Curtis (Marlene) of Forest City and Edgar Curtis (Barbara) of Ellenboro; her grandchildren, Kathy Wilson, Jennifer Allen (Preston), Brooklyn Henderson and Dylan Henderson (Leslie); and her great grandchildren, Conner Kring, Caitlin Allen and Victoria Henderson.
